Great – the title got you reading this post. And it’s wonderful since an interesting Romanian startup is looking for dev assistance.
Which startup?
What’s Momming all about?
GoodMomming! is an intelligent app that helps parents make better decisions regarding their baby’s nutrition and growth through healthy recommendations, personalized menu planner and food inspiration. Any parent can practically generate in real time, a healthy menu specially crafted for his little one’s specific needs.
The company is based in London with development offices in Bucharest (Romania). Good Momming!’s aim is to help parents globally in raising healthier babies and to disrupt the early parenting industry(~$1 trillion/year – US only). See the clip, it’s mummy cool.
What do they need?
They are looking for 2 backend developers and 1 front-end pro.
Why?
In September Good Momming! will open their beta app and their pre-launch phases. The guys will be at Techcrunch Disrupt SF 2012 demoing the product and networking. Of course, this is a killer opportunity and with a bit of luck Good Momming! will be selected on getting on stage.
How do you apply for the job?
First and foremost, you need to LOVE babies. If that is not the case, then at least believe in the vision and the product.
Skills? Stong Php and OOP for the back-end developers. Background in algorithmics and A.I. is a plus. For the front-end, slicing(HTML5, CSS3) and skills in javascript for interaction. UI/UX know-how is a plus.
