VentureConnect, event dedicated to entrepreneurs in IT, technology and online launches Venture Mentoring – a series of monthly meetings. Each month, a VentureConnect mentor will meet entrepreneurs who need answers and solutions to the business problems they face. The first mentor is Radu Georgescu, Founder & Chairman GECAD Group meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 29, starting at 15.00.

The project arose from a desire to support all year-round the Romanian entrepreneurial community and come up with solid answers to business problems emphasized by participants. Each month, entrepreneurs can present their project and the problems they are facing and receive real advice to develop sustainable business.

“We believe it is a normal evolution – VentureConnect was designed from the very start as a program dedicated to the growth and education of the Romanian business environment. And Venture Mentoring is the solution found to support start-ups that need a direct and immediate advice. Unlike VentureConnect where companies come to present their business to investors and seek funding, Venture Mentoring wanst to be a series of sessions in which we dissect businesses which will participate sooner or later in the VentureConnect pitching session. We want to channel young start-ups to becoming scalable business, profitable to attract investors in Romania or from abroad “, says Radu Georgescu, Founder & Chairman GECAD Group.
