For the ones that were missing Open Coffee: a traditional Thursday morning meeting, OpenConnect comes right in! Dragos Roua, our VentureConnect board member and one of the most successful & respected voices in the Romanian entrepreneurial community, announced the OpenConnect morning get-together: each Thursday morning, at 9.30 at Starbucks in Mall Vitan entrepreneurs can network, share ideas and most importantly have a cup of coffee.

The first session is planned for August 30th and all the details of the meeting can be found on OpenConnect Facebook Group. The OpenConnect meeting also presupposes a 1 minute pitching session, backed by consistant feedback and networking possibilities in the entrepreneurial community. The meeting is planned for approximately 2 hours, but of course girls spend more time drinking coffee than guys The location is brilliant – Starbucks, spacious: close to 30 people at a time can meet at once and the reason for starting OpenConnect is also commendable: educating the Romanian entrepreneurial community and bringing unity to a somewhat fragmented market.
