Balkan Venture Forum
Balkan Venture Forum (BkVF) is a regional initiative created to catalyze the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Balkan region. It is being implemented by the international team of Aleksandar Tasev, William Stevens, Dr. Bratislav Stankovic, Dr. Clarisse Molad, Michael Gold and Jure Mikuz. The president of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorgje Ivanov, is the patron of the event, highlighting its importance.
If you are an entrepreneur and interested in participating to the event, you will have the opportunity to:
- Pitch your idea to top active European VC funds.
- Create a relationship with investors and create an opportunity for investment.
- Receive a big regional and European promotion.
The conditions of participation are not at all very harsh:
- Free of charge (for selected companies only).
- Applied by 31 March 2012 close of business.
- Complete a 2-page profile.
- Upload a pitching presentation.
Of course, all companies have to go through an application and selection process.
We will be there as we have never travel to Macedonia before [kidding] but also to play an important role when it comes to bringing Eastern-European entrepreneurs to another level. Marius Ghenea and Peter Barta, members of the VentureConnect Board, will be present the conference, together with other important Romanian representatives of the business community, such as Bogdan Iordache, Co-Founder of How to Web.
If you are interested in attending, visit the website (http://www.balkanventureforum.org/) and also write to us at [email protected] for additional questions.
