VentureConnect Cluj announces its winners: SociaLook and AROBS

The first local meeting VentureConnect this autumn took place yesterday, 12 October, the Hotel City Plaza. For the edition from Cluj, we were happy to welcome Richard Douglas: entrepreneur, investor and a real business mentor for young entrepreneurs in Europe.

Two projects were selected as they have shown considerable growth potential and also managed to effectively point why their business plan is validated both by the market and by potential investors. SociaLook is a contact discovery tool that allows users to discover relevant contacts in a company by combining the social graph with employment, investment and other data. The application was shown for the first time during VentureConnect Cluj, now being in private beta. AROBS is deloping a software platform that will improve the activity of a taxi call center by processing more orders and automatically dispatching to the active cabs on the road.
